Our Green Collar Manufacturing division has seen 700 people complete their training programmes at our Green Collar Training Centre on the Nissan site in Sunderland. This year, over one thousand are expected to benefit from the training, which involves a mix of hand skills, employability skills and green know-how. The proportion of trainees gaining jobs in the Region's manufacturing sector - including the production of motor vehicles - remains encouragingly high, at 60%.
